Matisse Mesnil – represented by Pal Project – took part in the 2025 edition of the artist residency at
Saint Anthony’s Chapel in Naxos.
His latest works, created during the residency, engage in a dialogue with the raw landscape and the distinctive architectural character of the historic Karpontini Bros quarry site – Naxian Marbles Unl – on the island of Naxos.
Since its founding in 2020, Saint Anthony’s Chapel has hosted over 60 artists, ranging from emerging talents to established figures.
