Congratulations are in order for Néféli Papadimouli, who has been honored with the 6b Prize and the 47 Prize at the prestigious Jeune Création festival hosted at the Fiminco Foundation in Romainville !
The 72nd Jeune Création festival took place from April 30 to May 15, 2022, in the Chaufferie space at Romainville, within the Fiminco Foundation. The Fiminco Foundation is redeveloping an industrial wasteland in Romainville, accessible by metro at the outskirts of Paris, to establish a space dedicated to artists from around the world and open to everyone. Specifically designed for artists, this new space provides them with studios, facilities, and support, helping them create an ideal working environment and fostering exchanges between different forms of art. The selection committee, mainly composed of volunteer artists and an invited personality for the fourth consecutive year, reviewed the 1210 applications submitted this year. Each jury member meticulously evaluated all the applications. Final discussions among the committee members took place in Piscop, Val-d'Oise. For this 72nd edition of Jeune Création festival, the selection committee consisted of 10 artists from previous editions: Chedly Atallah, Carmen Ayala, Benoit Blanchard, Nathalie Genot, Hélène Gugenheim, Shani Ha, Tilhenn Klapper, Vincent Lemaire, Norman Nedellec, Samuel Trenquier, accompanied by an invited personality, Françoise Docquiert.
