Bram Kinsbergen est né en 1984. Il vit et travaille à Anvers, en Belgique.
“À travers mon travail, j’essaie d’élargir ma propre compréhension des individus et de l’humanité en général. Mon travail traite à la fois de sujets que nous pensons comprendre et de sujets sur lesquels nous nous interrogeons tout en supposant que nous ne savons pas ; il s’agit de miroirs et de murs. Les murs parce que nous ne sommes pas toujours capables de savoir ce qui se cache derrière l’histoire à laquelle nous sommes confrontés et les miroirs parce que nous aimons penser que nous savons ce qui se cache derrière parce que nous pouvons y voir une partie de nous-mêmes. De manière très humble, je survole au-dessus des grandes et petites questions sur qui nous sommes et pourquoi nous sommes qui nous sommes.”
